Yoga Therapy

Whether you're brand new to yoga or you're a seasoned yogi, anyone can benefit from individual and small-group yoga therapy sessions that are custom-tailored to your body and your needs. In these bespoke therapeutic yoga sessions we can work with your skill level, your body, and your goals to co-create a plan just for you, with no need for group settings that can be intimidating or disappointing (or somewhere in the middle).

While movement is viewed as a central facet of Westernized yoga, the eight-limbed path of yoga is a much more holistic model of health including physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual aspects of our being; the yogic method of therapy is unique in that it at once addresses the integral aspects of our being rather focusing on each part or system independently. Yoga’s integrative point of view holds that an individual’s experience of a symptom expresses vital information for the process of healing. When this information is unfolded, awareness can be a powerful tool guiding the reorganization process toward greater balance. We believe wholeheartedly in each person’s natural capacity to optimize well-being, while supporting their unique process of evolution to wholeness.

Yoga was originally developed as a way to help people better deal with the "stuff" that life brings. Yoga poses specifically help to clear out the junk, or the "dukha" (that'a Sanskrit, we promise!) to make space for the good stuff, or "suhka". In our personal experience, yoga has helped us clear out the junk spiritually, emotionally, and physically to make space for all the good, the light, and that which is from God; we don't practice yoga to be good at poses, we practice yoga to lead better, more light-driven lives.

We offer in-office, in-home, and video-based options for sessions!

In addition to our yoga therapy offerings, our group yoga specialties include, but are not limited to:

  • Vinyasa flow yoga

  • Chair yoga

  • Yoga for beginners

  • "Fascia Flow" yoga, developed by our own Savanna Scott, and designed to have a greater impact on mind-body wellness and facilitate somatic and energetic release. Please click here for more information about fascia.

  • Yin yoga

  • Yoga nidra, a deep meditation referred to as "yogic sleep". Please click here for more information about yoga nidra.
